Handle Conflict With Greater Clarity and Confidence

Conflict coaching provides direct, practical support for individuals, couples, parents, executives, and leaders who want to communicate more effectively, prepare for difficult conversations, manage recurring conflict, and make informed decisions.

Unlike mediation, coaching works with one side. You do not need the other person's participation - or permission - to prepare well and change how the next conversation goes.

Coaching vs. mediation

Coaching works with one side

Coaching

Works with you. The other person does not have to agree, take part, or even know about it. The focus is your preparation, your language, your boundaries, and your decisions.

  • One participant - no permission needed from anyone else
  • Strategic and practical, not neutral
  • Useful before, during, or after a dispute

Mediation

Works with both participants together, with a neutral mediator who does not take sides and does not decide the outcome. It requires everyone's voluntary participation.

  • Both participants take part voluntarily
  • The mediator stays neutral throughout
  • Aimed at shared, voluntary agreements

Important to know

Conflict coaching is an educational and strategic professional service. It is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, legal representation, or mediation.

When clinical, legal, or safety concerns are present, clients are referred to the appropriate licensed professional.
